Global Link proudly participates in the pioneering WWF citizen science programme to combat plastic pollution. It is not just a one-time beach clean-up: the process involves collecting, counting, recording and uploading the amount of litter. ADOPT A BEACH is conducted four times a year in predetermined months to monitor seasonal variations. This analysis is a prerequisite for tackling the problem.
Our team, trained by WWF, spent four demanding but enjoyable and rewarding hours analyzing the composition of waste in the Mati Sailing Club beach. We all look forward to our next measurement in January.
